In this post, I would like to introduce Kerala Fish Curry. According to Kerala Cuisine, Fish can be cooked in different styles. Steamed or Fry or as a Curry. In that, there are Meen Pollichathe(steamed fish), Meen Pattichathe , Meen peera (dry Fish with coconut), Meen Vattichathu, Kerala Nadan Meen Curry etc..
Kerala Nadan Fish Curry is an ethnic traditional dish available in Kerala. It’s tasty with the goodness of all spices. It is also called as toddy shop fish curry. Even if Kerala is a small state compared to others, Kerala has a long coastal area from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasargod. So the availability of fish is really high and is the favorite food for most of the Malayalees. Fish prepared in earthen pots tastes better. In earlier days, these pots covered tightly with Banana leaves were kept under the soil for one night to make it tastier. Kerala Style Fish Curry is an exotic delight that goes well with rice and kappa.
